what can this lump be?

I broke my leg in oct 09 by being hit by a motorbike. i was in plaster till march 10.
I have had a limp until 2 weeks ago and now where a have a little scar from the impact of being hit i have a painful lump under the skin.
I went the docs today but he hasnt a clue what it could be so asked me to go back in 2 weeks.

Has this happened to anyone else?

Could it hard tissue?

Im just abit worried

Did you have surgery? Internal stitches can take a long time to dissolve.

I had one in my knee following surgery, that lasted 8 months & was agony to touch....and then almost overnight it was gone!

If you suffered tissue damage, that too could take a while to repair & soften.

no i had no surgery.
The scar is just from a deep cut i got from being hit by the bike.
I got hit side on so the muscle etc took the blow so maybe it is just taking extra long to heal.
Ive been discharged from my orthopaedic surgeon now so itl have to wait to be referred by the doc which could take weeks
