your best bet would be to drink milk, stay away from spicy foods etc. you should see your gp about it though if it doesnt get better.

trust you to be out of milk! do you have any gaviscon?? i would err on the side of caution though and only take a little if you have an irritated tummy as opposed to heartburn.

spacecadet · 07/08/2005 22:58

i would get an urgent appt to see gptomorrow if no better tbh.

yes-i know you have an aversion to the docs, you may have to sit it out till tomorrow! dont take any form of painkillers-they will aggravate your tummy lining more.

stress wont help and youve had your fair share of that, thats why i think you should go to gps, just incase it does develope into an ulcer.

spacecadet · 07/08/2005 23:19

im off to bed now-get some milk tomorrow and make a docs appt!(thats an order) hope you feel a bit better soon. dd loves the activity unit btw, she shins up the slide and sits on that platform with a bit cheesy grin on her face!

Have you got anything pepperminty? Or I even find that peppermint chewing gum helps when I suffer from what sounds similar.
