I've had this once - turned out I was pregnant. Is that a possibility for you?

LovelyDear · 28/05/2010 00:43

as i have become older i have suffered longer and longer-lasting pre-menstrual cramps, for up to a week before my period. i think our bodies change over time, so normal shifts....

thesunshinesbrightly · 28/05/2010 00:50

I've never had them before being pregnant but i suppose it is a possibility.

yes that is true perhaps i'm worried about nothing.

Thankyou for your replies.

Would get this checked out medically by a gynae particularly if it continues. Ask for a refferal to a gynae if GP is unhelpful or just sends you away with pills. These things always happen for a reason.

BTW endometriosis is a common cause of bad/severe period pains leading up to and or during the period. Any symptoms that are cyclical in nature and get worse up to and during the menstrual cycle could well be due to endometriosis.
