Blocked duct/mastitis if not breastfeeding?

I have a lump/swelling in my breast which feels similar to the swelling I've had in the past when breast feeding and related to a blocked duct or mastitis. I noticed the lump late on Sunday evening and felt ill with tiredness and aching body all day yesterday. No temp.

I feel better today though tired. Swelling/hardness is still there, no redness. It's not tender.

I haven't breastfed for over 18mths now

Will be speaking to Gp tomorrow if no change.

But could the two things be related?

i have had an infection in what must be a duct before i had ever had a baby or bf.

could you be pg? first thing that happened to me is i got a boil. nice.

Could be a cyst Yogi - totally benigh - particularly if not red and not tender. Go see the GP and they'll be able to advise on it.

Def go to GP if only to put your mind at reat, but as fishie said, I once got a blocked duct, and it was about 6 years befroe I had DD1, so it is entirely possible it is just mastisiy flueyness.

I had mastitis years before I ever got pregnant - was a surprise! They did send me off to get checked out though - had an Ultrasound and mammogram which found a harmless cyst somewhere else. As everyone says, go to your GP and try not to worry.

I have this - no lump just soreness. Gp said you can get mastitis if not feeding and am being checked out in a month if no change. Def get lumps checked.

I had this on 2 occasions after miscarriages approx 7 weeks later...gp said mine was due to a blocked milk duct, right by the nipple, it appeared in the same place..after a full breast exam, she gave me antibiotics, cleared up pretty well...good luck!
