outch, had a fall tailbone hurts...

well I came home from shopping last week, dd in sling, onw large shopping bag in each hand. missed a step and landed on my bum. had nice bruises from each step on my legs and I hit my tailbone quite badly. it still hurts quite a bit after one week now, reclining not possible, picknick in park a pain in the arse
please give me a virtual hug and tell me it will get better soon. dh wont he cant stop laughing...

Falling hard on your coccyx (as I did once on an icy street) is incredibly painful so you have my sympathy. A lot of important nerves in that area that get beaten up when you fall. You should probably get yourself checked out at A&E to make sure there are no cracked bones.

BTW... should add that if your baby-sling is a front-loader it could be time to rethink transport arrangements. Your body is not designed to take a lot of weight on the front, you can strain your back and it can set you off balance very easily.

Ouch ouch ouch!!! Yes get checked out, there is very little they can do. I had physio on mine after I had dd as I'd had a bad fall on coxycs a few years before. Her delivery flared it all up again and took weeks to go. The pain after having her was unbearable. The physio helped. You have my sympathy.
