Last month I had an ectopic pregnancy which resulted in a laparoscopy and salpingectomy (removal of my left tube) Im due on around now and am experiancing a lot of discomfort on the site where the ectopic was... the same spot I had the pain in when I realised something was wrong.
Is this normal?

Sorry if I sound a little bit hysterical its just I normally get a central sort of cramping pain when I come on..... this is on my left hand side where I had the tube removed and Im panicing slightly that something is wrong.

After my ectopic I had a regular period 5 days later and then every month since. My ep was almost 5 years ago. Had right side salpingectomy..only blip in all this time was a miscarrage last dec.

Yes the pain and discomfort was acute at the time, iirc. I went to GP because I thought something terrible was happening, again..You have been through a lot, emotionally and internally...you will still be very tender. GP talked me through the process of the surgery. This explained to me why I was in so much pain. I never had suffered period pain before or after the first one post ep. Ever since then I have had a "show" 2 days before my period comes...like an early warning..handy, I suppose. Take care of yourself. Hope it's settled down..

there are still little niggling pains. I think im maybe being a little over sensitive. No sign of period though. its all just stressinng me out tbh.
