Aches & pains after pregnancy

Now into baby's 4th month - and YES I know I'm 42, but I seem to be full of joint pains that definitely weren't there before or during pregnancy. I know some are probably down to carrying him around & getting up and down whilst holding him, but I'm like a wreck getting out of bed - I feel twice my age, even though we have good nights. Anyone else had this, & what works to lessen it?

Sorry to hear this. It is hard work looking after baby! DS is nearly 9 months and I am shattered even though he has (dare I say it out loud?) slept through for the last 3 nights!!!

I have no advice really, (sorry!! )but if you are feeling really bad, then I suggest a trip to the GP, perhaps he will test you for anemia or such like, just to check.

Hope you feel better soon! x

Didn't think of anaemia - my iron count isn't that high at the best of times. I will take some supplements religiously for about a week & see if that works. Thanks!
