Fungal nail

I have a fungal nail which I've treated every week for 12 months with the paint on stuff, to no avail.

I've heard tea tree oil can help if you apply twice a day. Do I need to dilue the oil or use neat? And does it really work?

I'd love to wear sandals again ...

Have you been to get antifungal from the GP which should get rid of the infection? Then the nail hopefully will grow back?

call stepwise

Take a zinc supplement, there is a strong link b/w zn deficiency and suseptibility to fungal infections. My ds prolonged fungal infections disappeared when we started supplementing zinc when no antifungals ever worked. Get Zn/B or Zn/ACE supplement.

Thanks. I've had antifungal treatment from the GP - no use. I'll try zinc.

And Greensleeves - no idea what you're on about
