but I do worry, you are my friend.

bellavita · 21/05/2010 17:50

Bitter, that's what DH wants to do for our two - make nice things happen for them and surprise them.

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 21/05/2010 17:52

Bella, will you and your DH adopt me?

bellavita · 21/05/2010 17:57
Grin
bellavita · 21/05/2010 18:02

Oh blimey

DH has just walked in and he is like a belisha beacon

He says he is not the worst out of who went to the pub at lunchtime and sat out....

DreamsInBinary · 21/05/2010 18:03

Popping on super quickly to say that the only campsites I go to are in St Davids - very West Wales. I adore it but is as far out your way as the SW, I think Sazz?

I was offering the voucher for free (if it works)!

DreamsInBinary · 21/05/2010 18:04

Will try and catch up now.

Lizzylou · 21/05/2010 18:07

DS2 is in his room after being a demonic little sod in the garden.
DS1 is covered in bubble mixture, including in his eye, the two incidents are related.

I am off to the gym so I can be back, showered and PJed up for Ashes to Ashes.

Why is it whenever you make an effort to make things fun for them it goes tits up??

Dinner was lovely, had asparagus as well.

DEM, hope you're OK, course we worry about you, you're our mate

bellavita · 21/05/2010 18:11

Oh dear, I hate it when things go wrong with outside play..

NormaSknockers · 21/05/2010 18:18

Ah Bella what a fab suprise you have in store for DS - wish I had a cool mum like you

DEM, what's up chook?

Lizzylou · 21/05/2010 18:18

DH is back now, thank the Lord.
Never thought I'd say it (especially after last week), but I am pleased to be going to work tomorrow.
It has been a loooong Pox-filled week.

Oh and DH said I looked lovely and that my turquoise T-shirt thingy suited me, so am pleased I ordered the bright blue skirt, have been worrying about it all afternoon
He hates it when I go all goth and wear black all the time. Which is normally all the time.

NormaSknockers · 21/05/2010 18:19

Oh bugger Lizzy, it always seems when you try & do something fun they somehow make you wish you hadn't bothered!

lizzy - lovely to get a compliment but naughty DS's!

I too am spent. Completely exhausted. DD has decided a shrill squeal (well basicially a scream) is the best way to get everyones attention and it's driving me mad. DS is also trying every trick under the sun to wind me up...and I'm probably being over sensitive about everything.

And now DD has now refused her milk which probably means she's brewing some bug....urghhhhhh.

I too wish I could have a day at work - just to get a rest

It's wine o'clock now isn't it?? Well it is here.

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 21/05/2010 19:06

Wine o'clock here a well hells.

DC in bed, not sure how long it will take them to get to sleep, it's so sticky.

DD only had one nap today though, so that should help.

The kitchen looks like a bombsite.

My tip of the day - Do not mix a 4 yo 16mo and chocolate icecream.

Honestly, chuck in a couple of oompa loompahs and I've got myself a film set.

MitsubishiWarrioress · 21/05/2010 19:25

I am sick to the back teeth of the word 'sorry'. DS thinks he can do anything and then sling that word at me and everything is a-ok. I said I am not having it any more tonight as he has been a thoughtless clot and now I am an abusive, nasty Mum. And the minute he realises he has pushed it to far I get al the reminders about how many troubles he has had and massively guilt tripped.

evening, ive been asleep on the bed since 5pm i just collapsed with exhaustion, it was like my body went to jelly because i was alone and didnt have a little person to look out for

i went and bought bloody feta cheese again, i havent even had my tea i just went straight to the fridge and cut of a big chuck of feta

VinegarTits · 21/05/2010 19:35

aww mitts

TotalChaos · 21/05/2010 19:35

Put down the bloody feta, it's fat ridden.

Mitts - yes I have sing song "sorreeeeee" as a cure all for everything too. closely followed by "it was an accident" for annoyance value. DS isn't quite old enough for regular guilt tripping, but that will come soon.....
