what could it be

i have found a lump in my groin area, does anyone have any ideas, when i search on nhs direct it asumes i am a man and tells me i have testicular cancer! obvistly i will go to the docs, just wondered if anyone had any ideas on what it is?

whereabouts? Is it between your pubic area and the top of your legs? or anywhere else?

Sounds like it could be a swollen lymph node/gland. Could be nothing but best to get it checked out.

Could be an in-growing hair if you use any hair removal stuff.
