Ok, am officialy an idiot- don't understand how am supposed to take cerazette- HELP!

Never been on the pill before. So it says that you should take one a day etc etc, but then I don't understand the days of the week that are printed on the back- first pill Monday, Tuesday etc- it's Thursday, it's the first day of my period so I'm supposed to take it now- what are those days of the week for? Do I start with the Monday one ?

Or do I take the first Thursday one and then keep on going til they're finished?

Help!

take the Thursday one and go round in a circle follow the arrows til the pack is done. all the pills are exactly the same so it doesn't really matter the printing is just to keep you right..

Oh, really? Just went to some website and it said there that there are 21 pills and 7 sugar pills apparently? So would that matter if I start by the 'placebo' pill?

cerazette doesn't have any placebo pills, they are all the same.

Look at the leaflet inside the pack, I'm sure they are all the same. In any case you should use additional protection for the first week to be sure - if you are really confused call your GP and they should be happy to discuss on the phone with you. Do not rely on any website for reliable medical info!

Oh, yes, there is a leaflet- that's why I'm feeling rather stupid. Doesn't say if they're all the same.

my pack always starts on a Saturday so I take that one first and then follow the days round. The pills are all the same and you take them every day with no break. I take mine in the morning so that I have all day to remember to take it if I somehow forgot to take it (it has a 12 hour window to take them unlike other mini-pills that only have a 3 hour window)

The days are just so you will notice straight away if you miss a day, don't worry - they are all the same
