is this ovulation or what ..

iv always have the clear egg white stuff soon after my period ends , along with bloating and dull pain ,goes about a week before my next period due , does this sound normal , i am a worryier ,had scan done on overys 2 years ago all was fine , and had FBC done in Feb this year along with loads of other tests , Liver /thyroid the lot all fine .

just feeling a bit anx incase its something more

Sounds ovary and ovulation like to me - I have very much the same symptoms - I almost get a bit of an upset stomach aswell around mid-cycle and usually a few hours of pain. Have just learnt to put up with it really and pop back the neurofen. Ovulating now (about day 13) and have all the symptoms you describe - its just a downward spiral now until period from a mood and bloating point of view - the joys of womanhood. I too am 37 BTW. Maybe its our age?!?

hi thanks for reply , i just wondered , i have for a long long time had this i think which is why i went 2 years ago to GP who thought was normal but gave me scan to put my mind at rest ,
I suffer with health anx a bit so thinking the worst .

i have a short cycle to 24/25 or 28 if lucky ,

just good to here im not only one with similar thing going on ...

can you start ovulation pains/like dull ache ,boating/clear mucus stuff around day 10 ?

Any symptoms that are cyclical in nature and get wrose up to and during menstruation can be due to endometriosis. It is also not detected on either blood tests or ultrasound scans.

Endometriosis can sometimes be mistaken for IBS.

You should be referred to a gynae as a matter of course, this should be followed up more.

not sure if good or not ..

said that clear mucus stuff normal leading up to ovulation and pains normal .although usually 13 days but some people can come sooner...

said as my bloods all came back fine in feb and i have no other alarm bell symptoms like ... irregular periods/pain during sex/spotting or bleeding after sex /pink foul smelling discharge / , she thinks everything is fine and not to worry , obviously keep and eye on it but not ringing any alarm bells with her at all .

i did go to gym on monday for first time in ages did lots of sit ups ,could that make the pain ....its right ware your lap belt goes on seat belt , worse when sitting , walking about not to bad ...

or maybe its my IBS did have bad go thismorning ....but am anx to ...

no more pains since last week and egg white stuff gone , may come back this week as this is time i should be ovulating .

im still a bit worried about the bloating ?

I did mention OC to doc as i googled and this is a symptom of it ..

im 38 had pelvic scan 2 years ago as was worried then , had similar things going on , all was fine .

maybe just me and my H/anxiety again ..

she said as all bloods were fine and dont have any other symptoms , not to worry .

I do Have IBS that does cause bloating i know ..

the bloating goes down a bit by morning , but honest by evening i look 5 months preg ?
