no, sorry, it's a bug so nothing you can do to prevent it apart from escape the house
drink loads of water though and at healthily
not eating will make ou weak and more suspectible to catching it

No it will just mean you have an empty stomach to be sick on.And no resistance to fight bacteria.

Wash your hands -that will help not to catch it.

Er...why would you think not eating would prevent catching a bug?
< genuinely curious>

Just thought that seeing as you have to stop eating once you've got the bug, to make sure it gets rid of it properly, that not eating to start with might mean there was nothing there for the bug to make me sick with.. just a thought!
DS2 stopped eating for a good 12 hours after he seemed like he'd stopped being sick and then was starving and yelling for food so got given food (plain food) and he was sick all over again for a whole nother day so there is a link there somewhere!

Have been washing hands lots, will try and eat healthily. Not much hope though seeing as DS2 clinging to my hip 24/7, only sleeping on my lap and generally being sick in my bed and all over me while I was dishing up dinner (Friday night - none of us wanted dinner after that funnily enough!), plus have DS1 to keep entertained on very little sleep while DH groans in bed.
We are watching tv and eating toast etc when I can grab 5 mins away from DS2 to fetch it!
