I think I need to get my ar*e back to the doctors but I just know they'll tell me I'm fine and I don't think I can take the embarrassment So......can you lovely ladies please listen to my symptoms and decide if either a) I'm a complete hypochondriac or b) I need to push this a bit more?

Ok, I have:
absolute bone numbing lethargy (not constantly so bad but always there iyswim);

mad thirst, but generally only at bedtime;

the desperate need to wee but again usually only at bedtime (this can keep me up for hours!);

a constant battle with my weight, which just seems to yo-yo nomatter what I do;

issues with my eyes and dizziness.

After the birth of Dd2 i was told I had problems with an overactive thyroid (I have always been slightly sceptic of this tbh, mainly because I must be the only person with an overactive thyroid who is also a size 18 . I have been on Carbimazole for a year but the problems are still there.

So, what do you think? Am I just a nutter or should I try to get someone to listen to me about this just being 'not right'? Anybody else had these symptoms at all?

Right, I'll shut up now, thank you if you got this far

These symptoms are disrupting your life which is why you should push your gp for diagnosis

Def go to the GP and ask or fasting bloods to be done
Write down what you have told us and give it to the Dr to read, ask him to put it into your file so as it can be seen exactly what you are complaining about.
Good luck hope you get an answer soon
