I've been lurking and saw lots of references to this. I've been wanting to sort out my body for ages, but have felt fairly helpless as MS really interferes with my stamina, strength, coordination and so on. However, I'm not that disabled and can walk and stuff.

I do Tai Chi with a very gentle class once a week and I am beginning to feel that I should try a bit harder. So, I've just bought the dvd from Amazon and it will be here in front of me in a few days.

I'm not expecting to be able to do all of it, or even to be able to do it every day, but I really want to do something which will show a small change in a fairly short time (30 days is very short!). I'm not expecting miracles, but now I've bought it I'm terrified! How hard is it, really?

It is quite tough. I didn't ache after the first day but I think most people do.

Level 1 involves star jumps and skipping, press ups, squats with weights... Its all combined moves so you do squats and weights presses at the same time, working large and small muscle groups together.

My advice would be to maybe watch it through before you start and see what you think you can and can't do. Then maybe do just a few reps for the first few run throughs rather than trying to do it all. I would add some extra stretches to the end too as I find hers rather short and if you're not used to exercising then that might leave you sore.

Well done on giving it a go. I'm sure if you take it slowly and don't put too much pressure on yourself then you'll really enjoy it.

Thanks for describing it. I see I'm going to have to pick and choose at first. It won't work as well, but it'll be something, and that could build into quite a lot. Probably take me 3 years to get through it!

Totally agree with GS. I am on day 18 and on level 2.
I think technique is very important so watching it thro' is a good idea...it's tricky to watch whilst doing the routine.
Good luck.

Something is better than nothing. Don't disheartened if you can't do it all, you'll get there.
