What the hell else could this be?

Hello, could anyone please tell me about any other conditions that present with what feels like a baby moving around inside you?

I felt a little movement a few days ago, but put it down to gas,
but yesterday i had a full blown 3 mins of undeniable movement and kicking feelings inside that felt the same as when my son was 20-25 weeks.

and today ive had more movement, no kicking like movements today, but defintley movement.

Ive had a blood test as 2 preg tests came back neg last week.

im quite overweight and TBH i look pregnant because my muscles were ruined last time so it all hangs out to the front IYKWIM.
I can feel hardness under my tummy on either side, but can not tell if this is my muscles or a bump.

can anyone tell me about other things it may be?

last time i was pregnant i was 4 st lighter and didn't show until i was 7 months gone.

I am actually freaking out right now, have been since yesterday, now i will have to wait until monday for the results.

any advice would be great.

my dp often has feelings similar and you can see his stomach moving, the doctor says it's just a bowel spasm, looks very freaky but his is only on one side

could be bowel spasm. hope you are ok OP.

im hoping it is just something like IBS, or bowel spasms.
but TBH im starting to think it is a baby, yesterday when i stood up after the movement i had a heavyness inside, it lasted for a while and im still having more movements, and a pain under my ribs for the last half hour aswell.

I don't think i can wait until monday.

If i am pregnant im clearly quite far gone, but why would i get a neg test result?

Pregnancy tests don't always pick up the hormones after a certain date, you could do with an ultrasound scan to be honest. Have you been having periods?

i had neg tests with ds3 until 3 months...

if you are getting feelings like that though you are deffo, as you say, quite far gone.

Im not ready TBH, ive just started to feel better after having PND
Ive had a bit of brown dishcharge this last week, but it has been quite watery today, no bright red blood though which is unusual.
although i don't have regular periods either, but when i do they are always heavy and painful, this wasnt at all like that or anything else ive had.
DS was born via c section so i have no idea what labour feels like etc, am actually shitting a brick right now.

so if im far along i wouldn't get a positive result?

A blood test will show it. Pop and see your GP about the discharge though, just mention that your stomach feels odd aswell.

Could you really not get referred up for a quick scan before then?
Surely if you are recovering from PND this stress and worry is not going to help things?

Suprised they are making you wait so long to find out - seems a bit cruel to me.

think i would head for maternity hospital and get them to scan you.

The doctor i went to see was a locum, never saw him before as it was an emergency appointment, had the blood test this morning, and will find out monday the nurse said.
I doubt they will give me an emergency scan if ive already had a blood test taken?
I did think i should of been given a scan or seen the midwife there, but i guess im not a real emergency to them?

I will phone the hosiptal in the morning see what they say, can't get there tonight anyway.

hmmm i have had this actually. when not preg and managed to convince myself i was. never found out what it was either. weird. but then i always have weird unaccountable for things happen to me

The blood test came back negative!

but ive been feeling it all day today, have got the doctor phoning me after surgery this evening as im getting hysterical about it, i want a bloody scan so i can see theres nothing there, ive had a bit more brown discharge today aswell sorry tmi, im feeling pretty helpless right now, imagining im going to give birth on a toilet in a week or something.

Ws it just pregnancy they were testing for? Not that i know what else it could be ,ind you.
