Am scared

Had my period bout 2 weeks ago. DH and I had sex Friday night and saturday morning I got a pink discharge. It was the same consistency as normal discharge I get when ovulating, just the colour has freaked me out as this happened the month before too (think it was after sex then too).

Am now really worried that I have got cervical cancer or something, and got really upset on Sunday night and started worrying about leaving my boys motherless.

Have got a doctor's appointment for Friday but can't stop worrying about it.

I worry a lot and get worked up if I have a health scare, so I really sympathise. But you're doing the right thing. Remember it's probably not cancer, and if it did turn out to be, it can be treated especially if you go to the doctor asap. So either way chances are you will be fine.

I worry so much because of my children. Friday just seems a long way away at the moment.

It's not long, really. You've got an appt in just a few days - people who have serious cervical cancer have often gone on for months or years ignoring symptoms. (And anyway it's probably NOT of course!) If it helps could you phone tomorrow and ask if they have any cancellations?

yes I know. Am hoping its something and nothing but just need to know what it is.
