Bleeding after sex?

I feel like I'm falling apart lately, have been to the GP over several diff things over the last 6 months (one of them MH and am worried they will think I'm a hypocondriac!)

Have had a smear in the last 6 months everythings fine. Its not a lot, and just the last two time, first time was during, but noticed after, mixed in with mucas.

Last time was next morning just a bit mixed in.

Do I need to go GP again?

YES!

Go.

Could be a number of things, but you'll need another smear and a swab test most likely, and for him/her to have a good look at the cervix.

Thought so

Thanks.

Please get it checked out!

Carrying anxiety from something like that can only worsen any MH issues you have.

Can always ask to see the practice nurse if you feel uncomfortable with your GP and/or a family planning clinic.

I had bleeding after sex (just spotting really) and it turned out to be cervical erosion, had it treated and never had anymore problems, it's worth a trip to the gp to put your mind at ease

I will go, just sick of being probed, lol.

You don't need to have another smear test if you had one 6 months ago, as post coital bleeding is not an indication for cervical screening.
As 4andnotout says it may be due to inflammation, esp if you have an ectropian present, or if you've had Candida/thrush recently. It is worth a visit to see the practice nurse or GP, or FPC and they can give a proper check over, probably including swabs.
Hope it clears up soon.

We haven't done it since then, but had sex again last night and bled again

am going GPs monday.

Does anyone know if taking several packets of pill in a row with no break can cause this?

Its possible but you should definitely see your GP to check out what is going on.

Had this and was a couple of polyps - easily (!) removed.
