Sorry for crap title, my first time

Roundup of today:

shiney, hope you and J have a wonderful weekend together.

Queen, yuck. I hated nearly every minute of my pregnancy. Seriously, if you search my name from about Jan-Aug 2009, it will all be me moaning about how much it sucks. Sympathy for you from another hyperemesis sufferer.

DIB, my stomach leapt a bit reading about your DS, how scary! Glad he seems to be ok.

Alice, your DS is very curled up in there and you've got a ways to go (sorry!) so wouldn't worry about bump size at all.

VT, I think you should prepare for the camping by ceasing all ironing now

BOF, what the hospital appt for? You ok? Hope you feel better!

ABF, hello and welcome! I also think of Carry On films when I see ding dong, DH has forced me to watch them as part of my education on what it means to be British

DI, I am jealous. Tell me next time it is 'dress like a pirate day'.

SAF, my mom believed in benign neglect and got two very self-reliant and capable children. I don't go for doorstop selling of anything, I have a very comprehensive sign that seems to be keeping people away and stuff out of the letterbox.

bitter, I'm sorry, but at your DS being a bottom-flasher!

GetOrf, so giving up diet coke makes you lose weight? Might have to try that one!

bella, glad the cake situation was sorted. I am jealous, I want ducks to come to my house. We just have the neighbourhood cat who leaves us dead stuff [boak]

Goober, yay for another pound off!

korma, flylady is the way forward.

Sazz, that doesn't sound too bad, 4lbs can come off in two weeks. Good job on all the exercise.

Jet, hello! You just reminded me to check my BMI, and I have JUST graduated from 'Morbidly Obese' to merely 'Obese'! Hooray!

Mitts, at least she is your XMIL

hells, good luck with the nits

ScreaminEagle, I'm another who joined late (though it's been nearly 6 months now!).

Norma, hope your DS's finger is ok!

Defluff, at 'yo homies' I feel 12 again.

Went to pick up DS at nursery today and was alerted to the possibility he may be developing chicken pox!! ARrggggghhhhhhhhhhhh I really really hope not, I've only been back at work a week!

My luck is seriously shit. On the positive side the nursery worker thought if he had it the spots would be showing up faster instead of the very gradual increase over the day. So either he doesn't have it and has some weird other rash thing, or he has a mild case, or it will be turning up with a vengence tomorrow.

Either way, it is wine o'clock, DH is going to Spar now to fetch some in.

I loved clubbing when we used to go to our little local place - only let about 100 in, most of whom we knew and then in Brighton was great as i was in the 'work hard/play hard/ early nineties (i was early 20's). Lost it's appeal now, though i do like a good boogie to crap 80's music

Alicetheinvisible · 02/05/2010 13:53

Hello

Have been a bit the last couple of days, feeling tired and grumpy. I think DD is coming down with a cold though, so maybe i am too?

Anyway, hope you are all well, all this talk of donuts is making me want to eat a whole bag of Tesco's custard donuts and you all know how much i loathe Tesco.

I used to love going out. Not really a clubber, but liked to go where i could dance, and if they had archers slushies then all the better Feel like everyone would know i had had kids now though iyswim?

DoughnutsHaveRightsToo · 02/05/2010 13:56

I have never really been clubbing. Although I like a good dance.

I should have been born wearing slippers a housecoat & a bag of knitting

Alice sorry you're feeling a bit pap, could well be a cold coming? Archers slushies? OMG they sound lovely!!

FiveGoMadInDorset · 02/05/2010 14:04

Fuckwit BIL has handed over a large sum of cash but is breathing a sigh of relief as they are not going to be charging him interest and happy to wait until some land that he owns has been sold. Why he couldn't wait God onlu knows.

Alicetheinvisible · 02/05/2010 14:04

They were Norma! Red slushies with a double archers in

Alicetheinvisible · 02/05/2010 14:05

I was never a clubbing type either.

Long story short, BIL got himself caught up in dodgy dealings, needed to raise large some of money fast we have handed over our savings, mother now helping out with DC's nursrey fees and DD's extras and holiday cancelled.

Now how is everyones Sunday going? Tis not raining here but cold so the fires are lit, chicken is in the oven.

Crispy/Sazz - I love Dorset apple cake and banana loaf, also carrot cake is nice.

bellavita · 02/05/2010 14:12

Oh Fanny > I don't think he will ever learn his lesson!

I am sorry you have been feeling rubbish Alice, is there any chance of putting your feet up this afternoon?

NormaSknockers · 02/05/2010 14:16

Fanny Your BIL sounds simply awful

FiveGoMadInDorset · 02/05/2010 14:19

Oh he is OK, just keep him at arms length, I hope this has taught him a lesson.

But teh upside is that he hasn't got hold of the big bit of our savings and the lovely Tom is starting at the end of the month and we should have a fab garden finally to go with our fab house.

Alicetheinvisible · 02/05/2010 14:20

Fanny - that is really rubbish You really deserve a holiday.

Bella i am sprawled on the sofa as i type

I also love Dorset apple cake

NormaSknockers · 02/05/2010 14:23

Mmmmmm apple cake, makes me think of apple rounds

FiveGoMadInDorset · 02/05/2010 14:24

Are we back to the KK vs jam doughnut debate

Alice sorry your feeling poo. Is your DH areound so you can have a rest. How much longer have you got to go?

Fleecy · 02/05/2010 14:25

Have just come on here to catch up before filling out food focus for the day - and all this talk of donuts is making me hungry, despite just having a healthy but filling lunch. Luckily there is no sweet stuff in the house today - or I'd be gobbling it all up right about how

Fleecy · 02/05/2010 14:27

Fanny, that's awful!

Alice, nice to see you. hope you feel better soon
