Single Vaccines - Good or Bad?

Hi,
I'm wondering if people could share their knowledge and/or experience with single vaccinations? I'm looking into these at the moment and am after a bit more information on them. ie, if you have had a positive experience or if complications occurred.
Thanks in advance.

Well the most important piece of info may be that you can't get mumps as a single vaccine any more, assuming you are in UK? Also not advised by the WHO.

DS had singles a couple of years back. Was a positive and straightforward process and don't feel that 3 seperate jabs bothered him all that much. He barely flinched with two of them. He did have a mild reaction to measles jab (spots on face), but other than that no problems.

Think the difficulty you may face now is that I don't think single mumps is available at the moment and not sure how long that situation will continue.

Think it's a really personal decision and you just have to go with your gut instinct. Mine was that MMR wasn't right for my son. Close friends went with MMR. That was the right decision for them.

HTH.
