After DC 2 due in a few weeks, I want to stop having periods for several years. I'm 34.
I have endometriosis so figure this can only be a good thing.
Also I have very heavy and flooding periods with lots of clots so would be so glad to be rid of them. I don't want any more children but don't want to put hubby through a V.

Views please on injections, implant and coil. I don't know anything about any of them. Am I missing any? Forget pill - I'm just too disorganised.

I had the Mirena coil after the second baby, Im 33 and also had awful periods (I suspect endo but not been investigated).

It's been in a year now and it's fine, get quite a bit of spotting but no heavy bleeding and no need to remember anything. I chose not to have implant because the minipill never suited me and its the same hormone. Actually is also same hormone in Mirena but very low dose.

I would not touch the injection, it is linked to osteoporosis, can cause lots of side effects and you can't get rid of it if you hate it - At least you can get coil/implant removed and get back to normal quickly.
