I stopped BF DS about 8 months ago, I had a couple of normal periods and now they just seem to be erratic, can be every couple of weeks, or 5 weeks, or anything. Usually quite light and no pain. I'm on a mini-pill (Cerazette). Before I came off the pill I was very regular and always had been

Is there any point in worrying about this and going to GP or do I just ignore and get on with things? Could it possibly be the beginning of menopause? It seems very early (I'm 39) but I suppose that could be it?

Any changes in menstrual cycle from your previous normal should be mentioned to your GP. Whatever you do don't ignore it.

the mini-pill is renowned for causing irregular bleeding - I am on cerazette and apart from a few episodes of spotting have not had a period for about 2 years. Were you on cerazette before you got pregnant?

Yes, have been on Cerazette for a long time and didn't have this before, just regular bleeding. Right, I guess I need to book in with GP. Just didn't want them to just roll their eyes at me...
