Periods after the pill

I stopped taking Microgynon at the beginning of January just before having a coil fitted on 18th January. I bled for 4 weeks afterwards on and off then had my first proper period on March 21st.
Before being on the pill I was had a 28 day cycle that you could set a watch by. I presumed that I would be due my next period on the 18th April. I had some spotting on Monday night then nothing until Friday when I spotted again. I think my period arrived today but not sure if its just spotting.
Will I have longer cycles now or am I still settling down into a routine?

It took my cycle ages to get back into a routine after coming off the pill - over 6 months but then they were never normal before

i think it depends on what coil you've got as to what your periods will be like and there isn't any wy of telling

I have a normal copper coil so I don't think it should affect the length of my cycle, should it?
