Unbeknown to me, my son had this and was turned away by the hairdresser. It was very embarassing.

I think it depends what hairdressers u use.

I took dd1 a couple of years ago and wasn't aware that she had them (she wasn't riddled at the time) but the hairdresser just informed me by saying "dd has visiters" then carried on with dd's hair and said she would disinfect all appliences later and then gave me advice on how to get rid of them.
