Fexofenadine - is it really non-drowsy?

Took first one this morning - feel as crap as if i hadn't had any at all. i had a 2 hour nap this afternoon and i'm still knackered.

the insert says drowsiness is very rare side effect but most medicines make me sleep.
So is it the drug? the bastard hayfever? stressiness? or what?

I was prescribed that one a few weeks ago for a severe allergic reaction to 'something' (wish I knew what!) and experienced exactly the same thing. However, the following days the drowsiness seemed to lift.... if that's any consolation. I'd say that if you keep struggling, go back to the doc and ask for an alternative.
