Diarrhoea after Gall bladder op

I had a operation to remove my Gall bladder eleven days ago and now suffer from mild diarrhoea. I have no gripey pain, just going to the toilet five times aday. Has anyone else had the same sympyoms and what did they do to eradicate it.
My usual DR is on leave for a week

I had mine removed 2 days ago. Not had upset tum yet - but fully expecting it! It's a known side effect. Hope you're doing ok - I've got bad pain between my shoulder blades which I know is the gas they use (at least, I bloody hope it is and it isn't any remnants of my gallbladder as the pain is very similar and I don't think I could cope with that pain again!) Hope you're on the mend soon!

I wonder if cutting out dairy might help...my mum had hers out a couple of months back, and this is something she's not had problems with. However she cut out dairy for a good while beforehand and though she's been told it isn't necessary now, she still avoids it.
Soya or goats milk, that kind of thing. Worth a try?
