Does anyone know if you can have thrush without any discharge? I have started long-term antibiotics and am starting to feel very sore "downstairs" but no discharge (sorry TMI).

if I go to the docs they just say let's do a smear , give me a presciption then a week later say you have thrush ...... No !!really? Lol so o use the cream, take the pessary and wear no underwear and just skirts and try desperatly not to wiggle on a seat till it's better! No hot baths, no scratching and no sex! If you tablets are long term bear in mind thrush thrives on them! X

Thank heavens - no itching just really, really sore and hot. Is there anything I could put in a cool bath to cool it down? Think I will have to go to Dr as am reluctant to treat and if it is will changing the antibiotic help?
Do you know what causes you to keep having them pigglepops?

I seem to get get it each month and I have found eating yoghurt with acidophilous helps (I like Rachaels's Organic). I also back it up with acidophilous capsules from the health food shop. Cotton underwear washing towels, bedding etc all helps eradicate the spores.

I have to no longer use normal shower gel , I get one from boots costs me a fortune but much better , after looking into it with great detail certain fruits set me off and general crap food! Too much sweet things mean burning the next day! And dairy, that does me no favours ethier ! Hormones are really bad too for setting it off.... It's a pain in the arse really .... Or close by! Lol I would go to the docs though and get it checked, although if they are anything like mine ghey don't think antibiotics make it worse! Arrrgggghhhhh x
