Can men get thrush?

I've been having recurring bouts of thrush since ds aged 7 was born. Yesterday I was peering into one of those frightening magnifying mirrors and noticed that I have some bumps in the inner corner of my mouth. It's a bit , but could dh have thrush and we've been passing it between us, including orally? I had a look at his mouth this morning and he looks normal.

If this is the case, how do we get rid of it?

Yes and you both need to be treated with canesten. You get a tablet each and then cream to use, you on your internal bits (not your mouth) and him on his penis.

Your dh can get a cream from the doctor for it. You need to either avoid sex or use condoms for a while to let it clear.

You both need to be treated at once. Recurrent infection if one of you isn't treated is really common!

Brilliant - well not, but brilliant if I can finally get rid of it. Obviously when I've got it sex isn't on the cards anyway - off to GP's. Thank you all.
