Long period

I've had my period for coming up to 4 weeks now. This is the longest it has ever gone on for. Should I worry or is this ok? My concern is that I have been bleeding rather heavily (soaking tampons every 3 hours or so) and it is rather clotty. I'm on the minipill and probably not the best at remembering to take them sometimes (I know but I'm too knackered to have sex anyway) - could this be the reason?

Any ideas?

Go to the doctors and get checked out. I've had this and it took 6 weeks to clear up, mine was down to a hormone imbalance and I had tablets to sort it out.

I started mine nearly 4 weeks ago and it doesn't seem like it is ever going to go away. Somedays it is really light then other days quite heavy i am planning to ask the Doctor when i take my d in for her injections on tuesday will keep you posted.
