Air in vagina/vulva after birth of DC2

DD is 5mo, and I'm fairly certain I'm fully healed down there. Had a natural birth, no intervention, but a 3rd degree tear.

Ever since I gave birth, I've been very uncomfortable down there - not in pain, but I take air into my vagina ALL the time - I don't queef or anything, it's just little bubbles of air that sit at the entrance and are very uncomfortable. I got it occasionally after DS was born, but I get it all the time now.

I think what it is, is scar tissue or skin tags at the entrance of my vagina causing air to get trapped when I move around.

Do you think there's anything I can get done to sort it? Would it be something I mention to the GP? Like I said, I'm not in pain, but it is very uncomfortable, and means that I can't comfortably do a fair amount of exercise (I can run OK, but no aerobics, no martial arts, no badminton). Any action where I open my legs more than a couple of inches and whoosh, my vagina fills with air. I can squeeze most of it out, but there's always a bit left that's very uncomfortable.

My pelvic floor is in good condition - no problems with stress incontinence - I can sneeze without panicking, but the air bubbles are driving me mad.

If I go to my GP am I just going to get patted on the head and told to put up with it, it's part of motherhood? Does anyone else get this?

I would go to your gp if it is annoying you. This link suggests a couple of things to help.
