DD has been feeling extreme tiredness and thinks it might be down to the Pill.
She is otherwise healthy and fit , no outward signs of anaemia .

How old is DD and how long has she felt like this?.

She ought to be seeing the GP in such circumstances.

she's 12

arf - no really she's 18 and I think it's since she started pill about 9 months ago

she still has active life etc. but can sleep at any time despite getting 8-10hrs at night

She should still visit the GP as her tiredness may be due to problems with her thyroid gland.

yes I did think of that
she does feel cold all the time
must get her to measure her temp every am
will get her to see GP

but she has decided to come off pill anywya so we'll see if that improves things in time

is the tiredness dependant upon her cycle? I only ask because when I am on my pill free week (period) I get EXTREME fatigue, headaches and mood swings, even though I do not have much blood loss. I am currently experimenting with different types of pill to try and ease the symptoms, the one I currently take is slightly better, has less progesterone and has massively improved my mood, and slightly the fatigue.

The rest of the month though, I am completely fine. Sorry if this is way off topic, wanted to sympathise and echo others' opinions when they say she should see her GP.
