Anyone had one?

Mines on Thursday and I'm scared. I was OK till I read the leaflet, it sounds so embaressing

I don't want to be sedated though as I hate not feeling in control so will just have to grit my teeth.

I'm honestly very nervous though

yes have had a few, have ulcerative colitis. don't need sedation but can't lie that it is anything other than uncomfortable / mildly painful.

the drs are v professional, calm and after all they do this all day they are used to it and see no reason to be embarrassed. just a way to diagnose you.

hope you are ok - really best to go through 5 mins of not particularly thrilling procedure to get sorted out. I wouldn't be able to leave the house if my condition hadn't been properly diagnosed and treated.
