Yasmin contraceptive

Has anyone taken this pill? Did it make you gain or lose weight?

Didn't make me gain or lose weight, but did nearly lose my mind whilst on it.I went through a terrble time with mood swings and depression to the extent I went for counselling. Hadn't made the connection between Yasmin and my emotional state until DH mentioned it, so stopped taking it. By then I'd had 3 counselling sessions. Following week, having been off the Yasmin for a week, my counsellor noticed the improvement in mood immediately and agreed that it was the pill that caused it, and signed me off as no longer mad
Although some people love it, I wouldn't touch it with a bargepole.

I took it and neither lost or gained weight. I've just decided to stop though to see what I'm like without it as I've found myself being more bad tempered lately and as I've been on for 6 years thought I would have a break.
