SOrry to hear about your sister . Sending good vibes that her treatment works.

RunawayWife · 09/04/2010 18:38

Thank you.

It is the third time it has come back

I know I will get support here and then I can support her.

She is coping well with it at the moment.

Cancer is such a horrible thing. Does she have any DC?

My uncle has had it (mouth and throat) several times over the past 20 years, and it is horrible to watch.

RunawayWife · 09/04/2010 18:46

No she has no children, sadly she has lost many cancer started as Cervical.
She would dearly love a child but it is not to be.

She is 33, her husband went home to mummy when she was first diagnosed, clearly did not understand the part about in sickness in the vows he made to her.
She is divorced and has a new partner now.

I just want to scream this is so unfair.

Poor thing . Her new partner sounds to be twice the man her exH is.

Just scream, it works.

My FIL had cancer two years ago, and was only diagnosed for 3 weeks before he died. I hate cancer.

Poor you and your poor sister. It's a complete bastard, isn't it. I lost three years or more of my life to it and I pray daily that's my lot. It's so hard to keep on finding those reserves to deal with the next thing - and for you and the rest of the family as well as her.

I'm so sorry RunawayWife - it's a bugger..I lost my ten year old brother to cancer and my SIL had a very aggressive breast cancer -thankfully she is 5 years clear but after lots of difficult treatment. I was diagnosed with breast cancer last May and thankfully caught early. Sending good thoughts to your sis and you.

She had treatment Friday, seems to be doing ok.
Thinking of getting her hair cut short now before it all starts to fall out again
