Just wondering if anyone could give me any advice, for a while now i keep getting a red rash on my neck and chest i have not used any different creams and not jewellery etc but its really irritating .

It isnt itchy but goes really hot, dont know if its some kind of heat rash but ive never had it like this before.

does anyone else get this? and is there anything i can do to prevent it?

Try googling urticaria, or hives, & see if that fits as it sounds possible from your description, if so, it can just come on for no real reason, but can be allergy related, food ect or very occasionally a symptom of other things

from experience, if it is that, lavender oil can help a bit, & keeping a food & symptom diary might help pin point the culprit.......Strawberries are a common one, as are food additives, shell fish dairy etc.......it could even be a pet

but might also be worth seeing your GP

good luck,

have any of your children or contacts had slapped cheek

xkaylax · 08/04/2010 16:27

No slapped cheek

I'm thinking it could be an allergy however i've never had one before so just didn't expect it like you said probably best to keep a record of when it happens and what ive eaten etc

Thanks for the advice
