C section scar sore

Had c section 8 wks ago. Made the mistake of not wearing my big knickers the other day and got slight open sore in middle of scar. V tiny but weeping now. Sore to touch. I have bathed in coole boiled water and put antiseptic cream on. Is this suffice? Don't relish idea of going to out of hours docs unles really have to!

Definately go back to the big pants for a while yet.

I have to say on the couple of occassions my scar was a bit weepy I did just leave it and keep it clean and dry and hoped it would settle in the next few hours (which it did). You might be better off resting it and keeping it dry for a while so it settles down again. I daresay if you dash off to the out of hours doc you'll might irritate it even more. See how it goes.

It has actually and thankfully been the first prob I have had with it and think it was where a smaller pair of knickers were sitting on top of the scar! Feels
ouch but have smothered it with antiseptic cream.
