What do I do?
He stubbed it badly..the toe has swollen to 3 or 4 times it's normal size and has a kind of white lumpy bit. I can't bend it.
He's sitting with his foot in a bag of frozen peas..
Do I need to go to A&E?

So sorry to hear that, though slightly relieved it wasn't a waste of your time ! (would have felt terrible)

Hope he is out of pain and it all gets better quickly x

Owww that must really hurt. Poor ds.

Ingles2 · 01/04/2010 22:03

Thanks all...
No, no crutches... they were offered but the Triage nurse said she thought they were an accident waiting to happen..so I we said he'd manage..
so of he goes today, strict instructions, no footie, no sport etc.
Speak to the secretary and all that jazz...
go to pick him up at 3.30 and immediately see his foot is so swollen it looks like his shoe is going to burst...
turns out he was told to play outside, so being the daft donut that he is, he thought he'd walk through a few games of football and only kick with his left foot!!!!!!

what an plonker!
saw GP who has now prescribed 2 days total bedrest
If he manages to reach his 11th b'day, without be strangled by his adoring mother, it will be a bloody miracle.
