Hi,
My 8 month old is waking 6 times a night with teething pains, is there anything stronger I can give him to help as calpol and neurofen dont seem to be working. Also teething gels aren't helping either.
When my ds1 was teething we would give him medised, but apparently the age has changed. Help!!! Am struggling to cope in the day with the 2 of them and no sleep!

You should probably ask your doctor to take a look. They may be able to prescribe something more effective than you can get over the counter.

something cold to suck? i used to half freeze a bottle of milk and then top it up with cool milk and give to DS. he just loved this when teething. a few sucks and he was zonked out again for ages.

How about a combo of Nelsons Teetha (last about two hours and whole mouth goes numb) with extra added teething gel and a spoonful on calpol on top??

Worth a try.

Works for my DD (8 months) when its bad.

She doesn't like cold things to chew but does like chewing on clothing.
