Floradix versus Spatone

Could someone please help me here. I want to know which product floradix or spatone provides the highest amount of iron per dose.

And, if it is relevant, which one is absorbed more efficiently than the other?

I have been googling, but just can't find the answers I am looking for.

Spatone has 25mg per sachet but I dont know how much Flurodex has.

I got caught out because I assumed spatone was the same as taking the tablets from the GP. But they are nowhere near as strong so didnt raise my iron levels at all. (although I am sure they maintained them)

Am frantically trying to catch up now.

floradix absorbed much better

i was told spatone is only 5mg per sachet .....

and 60mg per dose of floradix ..

daily allowance for iron is 14

i wanted to top up as low iron , had BT not anemic but lower end .

Thanks, that's brilliant. Although I thought Spatone was absorbed well? but even so, Floradix is clearly the way to go.

I take comfort from the fact that Spatone is not that strong actually as I have been taking it on and off for a year or so now but have just found out I have a slight iron deficiency. I was wondering how bad I really was if I could get iron deficient on spatone, but perhaps it wasn't doing much good if it is not that strong. Will look for floradix now. Can anyone recommend an online site? I know there are several but I would prefer a definite recommendation.

You can get Floradix without Yeast or Glutein if they happen to be issues for you. Floradix also contains Vits etc to help absorption.
