Diclofenac - Have you taken it? Are the side effects bad?

I have inflammation of my breast bone and have been prescribed diclofenac, when giving me then the Dr said that they can have quite bad side effects, then in the chemist they mentioned side effects again and said to be sure and eat.

So i had dinner and took the first one about an hour or so ago since then i have felt awful, not quite with it and a bit sicky feeling. Not sure if it is just cos i am sore and not feeling the best anyway or if it is the tablets. DD has also told me i am chalk white, but i don't really think I am.

Just wondering if other experienced side effects with them, and how badly. Just feeling a bit concerned as both the DR and chemist made a big point of mentioning them, and i am hoping not to have to take any time of work if I can help it.

I took thesae no problem after 2 c sections, but I can't take the strong codeine ones (can't remember the names) co-codamol? co-drydamol? They make me really spacey.
