Baby being sick with cold.... help!

My 7 month old started with a rotten cold a day ago and he is pretty bad with it now, starting at around 5 last night.

I have given him calpol (no mean feat, I can assure you) and had junior olbas in the burner to help keep him clear.

Problem is, its all on his chest an in his tummy - every time he feeds, he coughs and throws the whole lot up again.

Anyone any tips on the best thing to do? Or do we just have to ride it out?

Thanks

keep an eye out for dehydration (fontenelle depressed) if he's being sick a lot. my dd had a sickness bug and she had reflux. when we got to 12 hours without a feed staying down, i called nhs direct and they sent a doc round to check. she was ok in the end.
is it worth trying to give him some water?
