Crazy postnatal hairloss. Normal?

Have 20 wk dd and it has been falling out for about 10 weeks. Had my thyroid checked last month and it was normal. I was expecting some loss but this is ridiculous, have a handful after combing through and my hair is so see-through at the front. Has anyone else experienced this or should I start saving for a wig? Thank you for any replies.

it is slowing down now but my hair has really thinned at the front (DD is 6 months)

I'm on DD3 and it has happened EVERY time!!! Can remember the absolute horror with DD1 and wondering if it would every stop, when would I be able to have a shower without blocking the plughole!

DD3 is now 9mths I'm still bf (I think it's something to do with changing hormone levels) and its still going strong, Have a lovely quiff at the front from regrowth the joys of motherhood. On the plus side I did have lovely luxuriant locks during my pregnancies
