I was poorly a few days ago (monday night through tuesday night) still a little poorly yesterday but not much. (D&V)

since tuesday night I have felt dizziness when moving, dizzy when changing position from vertical to horizontal and vice versa,
If I am up with my head still I am delicate but ok, if I move with anything other than snails pace, I fall over with dizziness, whole room spinning type thing, and when lying down if I turn over it happens again.

I want it to pass, and if that is likely I will not go anywhere, but if it needs to be fixed I would eather do it sooner rather than later. if you knwo what I mean.

Before you see the doctor try a few things yourself....

  • get some Dioralyte sachets and drink them down with plenty of fluids. Dehydration can result in dizziness
  • At the same time significantly increase your food intake. Sugary/starchy foods and drinks are best... avoid fatty/rich foods. This is to get your blood sugars up since low blood sugars can lead to dizziness
  • Supplement your food intake with a daily multivitamin with iron and vitamin C-rich foods/drinks such as kiwifruit and orange juice

Should all of the above not help after a day or so, or if the dizziness turns into actual blacking out, then see your doctor.

Thanks Chil1234

feel like I really need to get on, and it feels so pathetic sitting still like this when there is stuff to be done!
