sudafed and weight loss

i have been taking sudafed for sinus problems for the last 5 days but 30 minutes after taking them my appetite goes completly to the point where i have to force myself to eat. has anyone had a simalar experience or is this just a coincidence?

Its definetly the sudafed, they do the exact same to me, in fact they give me a bit of a buzz! I used to be quite addicted to them a few years ago.........

thanks for replying lilaclaire i can see why you would get addicted i have never had so much energy. i dont seem to want to eat much just do stuff like housework now that is out of character.

Do you mean the sudafed you buy from boots, superdrug etc?
I have this but i just thought it was my sinus pain that stopped me feeling hungry

its the pseudoephedrine, an active ingredient to ease congestion. Alot of people abuse it for weight loss too

Apparently a combination of caffeine, ephedrine and aspirin is the holy grail for body builders.
