4th cold since January...getting fed up now

I have a healthy diet (fresh veg and meat or fish, three portions of fruit a day) yet I am sitting here taking hot lemon and honey again with a streaming nose and sore throat. The DD's have had about four snot free days since January term. I accept that they will get everything going with starting nursery but how can I supplement my diet to raise my resistence? Anyone swear by something? I'll try anything.

Have you tried Echinacea tablets (available from Morrisons approx £1 for 30 tablets), herbal known for helping combat colds and build the immune system. Not to be taken when pregnant though. Hope this helps.
