Pimples on face and torso

Has anyone's baby had milk spots, or little white pimples, over their face AND torso? I think my DD (4 weeks) has milk spots (not sure of the medical discription) but they are not confined to his face, but rather have spread all down his torso and a little bit onto his shoulders and the top of his back. They are small, red marks with a white blister the size of a pinhead.

Hi, it's probably a bit of baby acne. My DS had this around the same time - it's due to the hormones passing through your milk. They should clear up pretty quickly I think, but probably best to check with your HV at baby clinic to put your mind at rest.

Thanks Cadders1; good to hear other babies have had it on their torso as well as their face, as the HV said this was unusual and she wasn't sure it was baby acne.

Henry had it on his chest a bit and on his shoulders and top of back. Probably best to see Doc just to check but as long as she seems well in evry other way then I would have thought it was the same thing.

Update: Doc and paediatrician had a look at DS and said the pimples were nothing to worry about.
