I burnt my finger on Saturday evening (hot saucepan handle, sadly not unusual chez Prov) and it immediately came up in two blisters either side of the finger joint. But apart from the first 3-4 seconds it didn't hurt. Now the blisters have gone kind of flat and leathery and they are completely painless. So what is going on - will they start hurting? Should I be doing anything to them? Normally they hurt like feck.
