I've got a really sore throat and I'd love to get some Strepsils... anyone know if they are ok with B/F?

TIA

I imagine so, have you not got the box?
(though I think everything says to check with your doc first to avoid litigation)

No idea, but it should say on the packet if they're not.

haven't bought them yet, but something in my mind says it's a no no

Ring a local Boots/supermarket and see if they've got a pharmacist on duty?

my doc said they were ok, when I had a sore throat 3 weeks ago. so is garging with soluble asprin as long as you spit it out.

Don't ring local pharmacies - many will just look at the BNF book which is effectively a disclaimer. This is compiled by a registered pharmacist on behalf of the Breastfeeding Network. It contains comprehensive information about most common drugs. You can show this to your healthcare provider to help you make your decision (in case there are any issues with other medication you may be taking).

Strepsils are fine for breastfeeding according to this. Get well soon
