  6. very very odd periods
  7. NOT pregnant
  8. stress
  9. Over bright and positive on outside
10. loss of appitite 11. loss of hair/higher then normal hair wear and tear. 12. loss of some weight, not significant and had been trying. 13. hypersensitivity of bitter taste of foods 14. DEFINTELY NOT pregnant 15. bruising easily. 16. inability to concentrate and focus.

probably other bits and bobs and as coherent as i can made it being knackered.

I have seen a doctor and i am awaiting blood test results so i can go back and discuss further. SO what do you think? what dr mn do you suspect this odditiy lot is?

WMMC: Absouletely no gardening. Cant get out the back door to garden at the mo. Someone lost the key

PandaEis: havent taken the ads for over a year and half. Have just been re-prescribed but it is one dose bout a month. 7 in one week per month at worst. Dont like them as they make me uber sleepy. Havent taken any as the screwed up the prescription and I cant take the version prescribed.

Diet - its abit hit and miss as i am just not hungry and everything tastes bitter. It is an effort to remember to eat. It has been 5pm before i have had breakfast some days this week. It is a case of eating what fancy just because i dont actually want to eat anything. ALthough having super at the mo and so will have managed 3 meals although slightly off timings.

I only ask as it sounds similar to pesticide poisoning symptoms.

But could well be depression plus anaemia as others have said.

The simplest explanation is normally best - how much sleep exactly do you get and do you exercise?

Alouiseg · 12/03/2010 21:55

Hmmm! Loss of appetite, i would like to catch it. You can keep the rest of the symptoms unless unexplained weight loss is on the list.

And good luck with it x

You probably won't "know" me I've been around for the last 5 years or so, so I won't be a stranger either. I'm a regular poster but certainly not one that stands out. I adore my AAD name but save it for very special occasions now.

QueenofWhatever · 13/03/2010 11:46

Anxiety condition with psychosomatic presentation.

Brittle is the word that comes to mind when you describe yourself.

ooosabeauta · 13/03/2010 12:04

I know this will meet with a few raised eyebrows, as that was my first reaction when recommended to me, but seeing a Chinese herbal and acupuncture doctor might help.

I went along for tinnitus (which persists, but that's a bit by the by in this case), and had a number of the symptoms you describe - just a bit lower than yours bp., stress, exhaustion, I also felt the cold a lot, don't know if you do, always have had very weird periods and some hormonal issues, and he checked my tongue and pulse, which was what he described as 'weak and sluggish' (did exercise and normal/lightish weight etc.).

He seemed to understand my whole system's flaws and prescribed some disgusting herbs which I boiled and drank twice daily, and my symptoms were totally alleviated, except for the tinnitus . I think that's irreparable damage, but he said the whole body system needed to pick up to repair the ears. My body felt like it was glowing and I had lots more energy. Interestingly, during the acupuncture my ringing ears also stopped, but started again afterwards. The downside is that I can't possibly afford that treatment anymore.

If you're well off maybe that would be an option if the NHS doctors draw a blank. I hope they work it out for you though

TheCrackFox · 13/03/2010 12:09

Have you recently changed contraceptives? You might be having a reaction to it?

TheCrackFox · 13/03/2010 12:19

How about the Perimenoapause? Which seems to have a billion symptoms and can start 10/15 yrs before your actual menopause. What fun it is to be a woman.

limitedname · 13/03/2010 18:32

ooosabeauta - I have a very severe needle phobia. Nurse had to pick me up off the floor

I think lack of sex is probably the least invasive and most boring form of contraception going. Stopped taking depo over a year ago so it should but might not be out of my system yet.

Erm sleep, well this week it has been about 2-3 hours per night. Which is shocking but it has be a necessary evil due to work. normally about 6-7hours per night but sometimes none at all as just cant sleep.

Id recommend seeing a good acupuncturist/chinese herbalist- they often have great results with vague gynae things- sounds like you body needs fine-tuning in some way.

ooosabeauta · 13/03/2010 20:23

Yes, even if you can't have the acupuncture (and they might be able to do acupressure instead) the herbs would still have an effect, IME.

Hearing your sleep deprivation - that's enough to make anyone's system go out of kilter. I know it's not a choice, but the result of that little sleep is likely to be that you feel rough. I hope something gets worked out for you

limitedname · 13/03/2010 20:25

dont think fine tuning will cut it more like a major service.
