fungicidal rash on tummy

canesten hasnt worked

It's nasty, isn't it.

Someone recommended I try tea-tree oil on the thrush I have under my arms, and if nothing else it's really soothing. The pharmacist recommended I try some canesten HC as well, and that seems to be helping.

dh has a thing he gets about once a year on his hands, red spots and blotches, which the dermatologist said was fungus but this has never really been proved. reckons it's an allergy to a very obscure and special combination of circumstances. an anti-mycoticum (???) has helped before.

what is it with mumsnetters and fungus?
